Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, uniformed security presence across the resort to ensure guest and team member safety
• Serve as a first responder to police, fire, and medical incidents
• Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and fire alarm panels
• Conduct routine safety and security inspections and maintain accurate logs and checklists
• Prepare detailed incident reports using computer systems and email
• Control access at designated entry and exit points and perform traffic control
• Assist guests and team members with security-related concerns and service requests
• Manage lost and found inventory and key control accountability

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Physical stamina for standing, climbing stairs, and moving quickly for short distances
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military (minimum 1 year)
• Prior hospitality or guest service experience
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED
