Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems to ensure facility safety
• Conduct patrols and inspections to detect hazards or suspicious activity
• Enforce property access policies and verify identification for visitors and contractors
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and coordinate with first responders
• Document all activities, incidents, and maintenance issues accurately
• Provide customer service and assist with directions, inquiries, and building information

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Must be able to obtain an Ohio Guard Card
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions including lifting 50+ lbs and completing foot patrols
• High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security experience
• Bilingual skills
