Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Maintain a polished, professional uniform and personal presentation
• Act as the primary point of contact for building occupants and guests
• Manage visitor sign-in/sign-out processes and identity verification
• Enforce building access control policies and prevent unauthorized entry
• Conduct regular security patrols of interior and exterior perimeters
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, and life safety systems
• Serve as a primary responder to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and suspicious activities
• Prepare detailed written reports on security incidents and daily activities
• Manage inventory and issuance of building keys and access cards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate security, hospitality, or customer service
• Proficiency in computers, security software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• High degree of professional maturity and sound judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security experience in a High-Rise Commercial Office Building
• Bi-lingual skills
• Availability for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
