Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and record data for management

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience in door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant positions
• Comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, complete foot patrols, and work in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual skills
• Availability for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
