Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Greet, screen, and direct visitors following established procedures at ABC station facilities
• Enforce company security and parking policies consistently and fairly
• Monitor company property, identify safety hazards, and patrol building perimeters
• Perform access control duties and conduct vehicle inspections
• Respond to medical, fire, and security emergencies in coordination with first responders
• Accurately complete logbooks, incident reports, and work orders
• Utilize technology to document incidents and manage information flow
• Provide professional assistance and information to visitors and employees

Requirements

• 1 year of corporate security, law enforcement, military, or related customer service experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license
• Valid State Security Guard license (or ability to obtain before hire)
• Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word
• Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working under pressure and handling difficult situations diplomatically
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Facilities Management
• Ability to operate company transportation, including fleet and golf cart vehicles
