Security Officer Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager with daily security operations and compliance
• Manage site training matrix and coordinate training programs
• Conduct coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training for security personnel
• Monitor officer performance, appearance, and attendance
• Verify shift handover reports and communicate operational concerns
• Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and operational coverage
• Support incident response, investigations, and emergency situations
• Audit training records, incident reports, and uniform inventory

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Alabama Security Unarmed license or ability to obtain
• 3–5 years of experience in security operations or related environments
• Experience managing incident reporting, training compliance, and scheduling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field
• Previous supervisory, team lead, or training experience
• Experience in corporate, critical infrastructure, or healthcare security environments
• Certifications in leadership or security operations
