Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage gatehouse operations and site access control
• Verify and process contractors, visitors, couriers, and truck drivers entering the site
• Monitor and operate security and CCTV systems
• Maintain accurate records, reports, spreadsheets, and site documentation
• Conduct security checks and respond to incidents as required
• Ensure compliance with site security procedures and access requirements
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders while maintaining a professional security presence
• Promote a strong safety culture and support operational compliance

Requirements

• Previous experience in a security, gatehouse, or access control environment
• Current Security Licence and First Aid Certificate
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
• Ability to work a rotating roster of 12-hour day and night shifts (4 on, 4 off)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data entry
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, police check, and reference checks
