Security Officer - Screening Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and deter unauthorized access to trailers, gates, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business perimeter, parking areas, dock doors, and warehouse exterior.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by maintaining required logs and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must meet state and/or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
