Security Officer Power Plant Access Screener

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification, and prevent unauthorized access to restricted or critical areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, badge activity, and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug screen.
• Ability to work the specified overnight shift (Friday and Saturday, 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in access control or badge management.
• Prior experience in a customer service role.
• Comfort using computers or tablets for reporting and logging.
