Security Officer - Patrol Observer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate areas to maintain a visible presence and safeguard clients
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeters to identify unusual activity or maintenance concerns
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to support authorized entry procedures
• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific policies
• Document observations and complete required reports and logs in a timely manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Must be able to work overnight shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday)

Preferred Qualifications

• State, county, or city issued security license
• Experience with access control or badge systems
• Previous customer service experience
• CPR certification
• Proficiency using a computer or tablet
