Security Officer Patrol Documentation

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to verify authorized access for personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document observed activity and report information through appropriate channels.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific policies and security procedures.
• Assist with security-related checks of gates, doors, trailers, and exterior areas.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficiency using a computer and/or tablet.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with access control or badge systems.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Possession of a guard card or relevant security license.
