Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff within a healthcare environment
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations with a calm and professional de-escalation approach
• Monitor access points and public areas to control entry and exit activity
• Document security-related incidents, observations, and concerns according to site protocols
• Support hospital operations by assisting with visitor guidance and communicating with first responders during emergencies

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to work a full-time afternoon shift (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in access control and badge management
• Experience with X-ray screening equipment
• Proficiency using a computer or tablet
• Prior experience in a customer service role
