About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete hourly patrol routes using the security system
- Manage access control for guests, tenants, and vendors
- Conduct routine foot patrols and observe safety concerns
- Issue banning notices to rule violators and maintain records
- Enforce property policies, including "no dogs on the plaza"
- Monitor loading docks and ensure fire access areas remain clear
- Assist marketing teams with event management and traffic control
- Manage valet operations and prevent illegal parking on the plaza
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Certified security officer by the state of Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Valid driver's license without major violations
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work overnight shifts (Sun-Thurs 11pm-7am)
