Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Guard casino property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry
• Safeguard Team Members, guests, and assets
• Patrol internal and external perimeters of the casino
• Check guest IDs and observe suspicious behavior
• Ensure underage guests are not on the gaming floor
• Provide security escorts for cash transactions and sensitive areas
• Prepare security reports describing activities and incidents
• Assist casino guests and maintain professional conduct

Requirements

• Basic math skills
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling
• Ability to obtain a gaming license per LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission regulations
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment with loud noise levels
