Security Officer Medical Screening

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to support an orderly environment.
• Assist with security-related support during medical emergencies and patient assistance calls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with X-Ray screening.
