Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols to detect suspicious behavior and prevent criminal activity
• Acknowledge and greet residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage guest and visitor access and verify credentials
• Document and maintain logs of visitors and incidents
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol interior and exterior perimeters to identify safety risks
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and emergencies
• Enforce site rules, regulations, and policies

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of customer service or security experience
• High school degree or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
• Basic computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, and stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and respond to assignments with little notice
