Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity, protect property, and enforce rules
• Perform foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior
• Greet residents and guests and control access to the property
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
• Check credentials of vehicles and individuals
• Manage front desk duties including package distribution and access control

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to stand for up to 8-hour periods
• Ability to perform extensive walking and stair climbing
• Ability to lift 10lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security or customer service fields
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Valid state licensing
