Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism or theft
• Greet residents and guests, check identification, and control property access
• Monitor CCTV camera systems and manage access control
• Acknowledge guests with courtesy and distribute packages
• Protect property, equipment, and workers while enforcing rules

Requirements

• Must reside in College Station, TX
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to stand for up to 8-hour periods
• Ability to perform extensive walking and stair climbing
• Ability to lift up to 10lbs
• Reliable transportation for commuting
• Availability for weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security or customer service experience
• Valid state security licensing
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
