Security Officer III

Responsibilities

• Provide security expertise and field supervision for US TOP SECRET SCIF construction projects in Germany
• Train and assist Construction Surveillance Technicians (CST) on security developments and document control
• Conduct periodic security inspections to ensure compliance with the Construction Surveillance Plan (CSP)
• Perform audits and analysis of construction drawings to identify technical and physical vulnerabilities per ICD 705 standards
• Manage CSTs and observe construction activities to apply counterintelligence surveillance strategies
• Provide advanced technical knowledge regarding sound attenuation, electromagnetic emission attenuation, and electric circuitry isolation
• Draft Construction Site Security plans, Accreditation Support Plans, and Transportation Security Plans
• Conduct project design reviews and sound testing for STC rated structures

Requirements

• TS/SCI eligibility
• CST Certification completed within the last 5 years
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of specialized experience, or a High School Diploma with 8 years of specialized experience
• In-depth knowledge of ICD 705 construction standards and technical surveillance techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• SSM Certification completed within the last 5 years
• Experience managing ICD-705 projects in Europe
• Experience with the German SOFA process
• Expertise in Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) and acoustic/sound testing
• Experience with telecommunications installation and security requirements
