Security Officer II

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical security of personnel and property at the IGT Reno campus by enforcing security directives and regulations.
• Monitor and operate CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
• Prevent unauthorized access to company sites and protect against the unauthorized removal or loss of company property.
• Respond to incidents via foot or vehicle patrols throughout the property.
• Manage visitor logs, complete incident reports, and document shift activity in Daily Activity Logs.
• Utilize access control systems to produce badges and manage site access globally.
• Troubleshoot routine security equipment issues and escalate technical concerns as needed.
• Act as a professional first point of contact for emergencies, providing escorts and assistance to employees and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant security experience.
• Experience operating CCTV, access control, and related security systems.
• Knowledge of security/law enforcement equipment and protective systems (fire alarms, intrusion detection, etc.).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business software.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and conduct regular foot patrols.
• Ability to pass a required background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
