Security Officer II/EMT-B

Responsibilities

• Provide security services for the New Martinsville site, including guest reception and radio communications
• Monitor and operate electronic security equipment and maintain access control systems
• Perform random perimeter checks, vehicle inspections, and surveillance duties
• Authorize security clearance for all visitors entering the plant
• Manage traffic control and monitor parking lots for violations
• Utilize defensive and offensive site security and personnel protection systems
• Serve on Plant Emergency Services Teams as determined by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current EMT-B certification
• Ability to pass a Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) background check
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including required overtime
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk briskly, run, and climb ladders
• Ability to work in varying physical environments, including outdoors in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous law enforcement or security experience
• Knowledge of plant operations
• Experience with a Department of Homeland Security or Coast Guard site
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
