Security Officer Healthcare Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and waiting areas to control access and guide visitors.
• Assist with incident documentation and communication with site contacts or first responders.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Willingness to work in a hospital environment, which may include the morgue.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
