Security Officer Flex Driver

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle
• Monitor entrances and exits to permit authorized personnel and monitor departing staff
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire departments in case of fire or unauthorized presence
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or smoking
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 21 years of age
• Availability to work irregular shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, often with little to no advance notice
• Ability to meet branch flex travel distance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military or law enforcement experience
• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
