Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of assigned areas, including multi-level buildings and outdoor spaces
• Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents
• Operate security equipment such as radios, keys, and locks
• Monitor surroundings to identify potential security threats and detect alarms
• De-escalate stressful or potentially volatile situations with professionalism
• Maintain accurate and detailed activity logs and incident reports
• Assist in evacuations and other emergency response procedures

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current California Guard Card License
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• At least one year of experience in security, mobile patrol, or event staff roles
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in basic computer and smartphone usage
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
