Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces to verify credentials and permissions.
• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Support law enforcement, first responders, and authorized representatives during emergencies or evacuations.
• Document observations and notify appropriate personnel regarding security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, OR a college degree.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
