Security Officer Armed Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor entrances and exits, document daily activities, and report security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and security-related incidents.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• 3 or more years of experience as Military Police, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security (or be a certified law enforcement graduate).
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
