Security Officer Armed

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control, and emergency response actions.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and deliveries, verifying credentials and reporting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders.
• Monitor entry points, lobbies, and loading areas to support authorized access and deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business perimeter to note maintenance concerns or security issues.

Requirements

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a valid CPO certification and an armed guard card/license.
• Minimum of 5 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, or a police/corrections academy certificate.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
