Security Officer Armed Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document observations and report unusual activity to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, parking locations, and the perimeter.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification.
