Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific screening procedures and access protocols.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, including loading, shipping, receiving, and perimeter locations.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet for reporting and logging.
