Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including entrances, exits, and perimeters.
• Monitor visitor, staff, and resident movement to support orderly operations and authorized access.
• Prepare routine reports on daily activities, incidents, and policy violations.

Requirements

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
