Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and activity within the location to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support hotel operations by communicating with site contacts and first responders when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and/or First Aid certification.
• Experience with access control or badge systems.
• Previous customer service experience.
