Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and staff at a government location
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, offices, hallways, and perimeters
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner
• Monitor access points and observe visitor movement to ensure policy compliance
• Document observations and report security concerns through proper channels

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
• Guard card or license is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
