Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and visitor logs to control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Support the flow of deliveries and contractors by checking authorizations and maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business perimeter to observe for security concerns or maintenance issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Preferred: Experience with access control, badge systems, alarm panels, or customer service.
• Preferred: Comfort using a computer or tablet.
