Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front desk presence for a financial institution, greeting employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification, and maintain visitor logs to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Manage front desk communications, answer phones, and support the reporting of security concerns and daily activity.
• Observe entry points and high-traffic areas to report maintenance issues or suspicious behavior.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• State, county, or city issued security-related license.
• Experience with alarm panels.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
