Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following site-specific policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Monitor access points and verify entry for visitors, employees, and contractors in accordance with site protocols.
• Document observations, assist with incident reports, and report maintenance issues or potential hazards to site contacts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license (required for this driving post).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet.
• Possession of a guard card or security license.
