Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout school buildings, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and communicating security concerns to site personnel.
• Support daily campus operations during arrival, dismissal, and special events by maintaining a visible presence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Ability to work a full-time morning shift (Monday–Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Possession of a guard card or security license.
• CPR certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet for reporting.
