Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, and parking perimeters to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by assisting with access control, visitor inquiries, and tenant concerns.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Possession of a valid guard card or security license.
