Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity.
• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and employee movement in accordance with site protocols.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and policy-related concerns through appropriate communication channels.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required for this driving patrol position.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
