Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control and emergency response procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Document details and complete required logs, reports, and shift communications in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Possession of a guard card and/or security license.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification.
