Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities within a healthcare location
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Document security-related concerns and share relevant information with site contacts
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and hallways to deter unauthorized access and assist with directions
• Support healthcare operations by assisting with visitor management and communicating with staff regarding security incidents

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Compliance with state and local licensing requirements
• Valid driver's license (required for driving positions only)
