Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report security-related concerns or policy violations
• Maintain detailed activity and incident reports throughout the shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet preferred
• Access control or badge experience preferred
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred
• Guard card and/or license preferred
