Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeters
• Monitor access points and public areas to control entry and exit activity
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and daily observations in required reports

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs
• Guard card or license preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred
