Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors within a healthcare environment
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unwanted activity
• Monitor access points and public areas to assist with visitor directions and entry procedures
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner
• Document observations and report security concerns according to site-specific policies

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions only)
