Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, including badge verification and entry procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, or suspicious activity to site contacts or supervisors.

Requirements

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
