Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including buildings, public areas, and perimeters, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and assist guests with directions or protocols.
• Document relevant details of incidents and report concerns through proper communication channels.

Requirements

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
