Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and badge verification.
• Monitor entry and exit points to verify credentials and deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and office areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records and document unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe for security concerns or policy violations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Possession of a guard card and/or security license.
