Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail locations, including sales floors, entry points, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and potential theft-related activity.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, customers, and staff while maintaining security protocols.
• Document observations and report concerns through proper communication channels.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and support during high-traffic periods.
• Work closely with local leadership and public emergency responders when necessary.

Requirements

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, OR 5+ years of armed security experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license (required for driving positions).
• Level III Armed Guard Card (required for Texas).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
