Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following site-specific procedures and access guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular foot patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, and storefront perimeters to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor property activity and document observations, incidents, or maintenance issues to support daily operations.
• Communicate relevant details to supervisors, property contacts, and emergency services when appropriate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Possession of a valid guard card and/or security license.
