Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and staff by following access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entrances, gates, lobbies, and other designated access points to deter unauthorized entry.
• Verify visitor, vendor, and delivery information while maintaining accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, including common areas, parking lots, and perimeters.

Requirements

• 6 or more months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Valid guard card or security license.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
