Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and deter unauthorized access.
• Screen visitors, vendors, and vehicles while maintaining accurate access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business perimeter, including shipping, receiving, and gate areas.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Ability to commit to a designated weekly shift for at least six months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Experience in loss prevention.
